Uji Adaptasi Kultivar Jagung Rainbow (Zea Mays L.) di Kecamatan Namorambe Kabupaten Deli Serdang

Abstract

The study aims to determine the growth and yield of adaptation testing (Zea mays L.) rainbow varieties in Namorambe District, Deli Serdang Regency. This research was conducted at Jln. Becek, District. Namorambe, Deli Serdang Regency from June to August 2024. This study used the method of randomized block design (RBD) method was used with one factors V1 (Rainbow) as a comparison V2 (Pioneer), V3 (Bonanza) the variables observed were plant height, stem diameter, male flowering age, female flowering age, harvest age, cob length, cob weight of plants. The results showed that rainbow corn cultivars did not have a real effect on plant height but had a real effect on stem diameter, male flowering age, female flowering age, harvest age, cob length and crop cob weight on the planting environment of Namorambe District, Deli Serdang Regency.
