The Trans Sumatera Ruas Indrapura-Kisaran toll road project (47.740 km) is one of the ongoing Trans Sumatera toll road projects. Rigid pavement is the top of a toll road, which has huge volumes and a long work time, so it needs a high productivity of ready-mix concrete to supply the field’s daily demand. PT. PP Presisi (Tbk) is one of the subcontractors of the Trans Sumatera Ruas Indrapura-Kisaran toll road project, which uses a batching plant (BP) to supply ready-mix concrete. Batching Plant (BP) is the name for an area to produce ready-mix concrete. Building Batching plants is not only necessary to meet the project’s demand but also for cost efficiency, as long as they are constructed correctly. One of the most important factors is choosing the best location. This research uses the Fuzzy Analytic Network Process (FANP) and Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) methods to approach the best location of Batching Plant (BP) III in the Trans Sumatera Ruas Indrapura-Kisaran toll road project using 5 criteria, 14 subcriteria, and 3 alternatives. These methods have the ability to convert kualitative data to kuantitative data. Fuzzy Analytic Network Process (FANP) calculates data using a fuzzy pair-wise comparison matrix to obtain alternative locations 1 (0,289), 2 (0,379), and 3 (0,276), whereas Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) calculates data using a decision matrix to obtain alternative locations 1 (0,810), 2 (0,900), and 3 (0,159). Based on the results of both methods, alternative location 2 is the best location. The results of the sensitivity test show that the Fuzzy Analytic Network Process (FANP) has a higher sensitivity level of 5.102% compared to the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS), which is 4.847%.
