Analysis of the Level of Satisfaction of Organic Rice Farmers With the Performance of Field Agricultural Instructors (Case Study: Pematang Setrak Village, Teluk Mengkudu District, Serdang Bedagai Regency).
Abstract
Agricultural extension is a non-formal
education system for the community, especially for farmers and their families with
the aim of making them capable, capable and independent to improve their organic
rice farming activities. Farmer satisfaction through extension activities will
influence farmer attitudes and behavior, especially through satisfaction, farmers
will be even more active in developing their organic rice farming business. This
research aims to analyze the performance attributes of field instructors based on
the level of importance and level of performance according to organic rice farmers
and to analyze the overall satisfaction of organic rice farmers with the performance
of field instructors in Pematang Setrak Village. The analytical model used in the
research is Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) to see the results of the level of
importance and performance level of priority performance attributes and the
Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) to determine the overall satisfaction of organic
rice farmers. The data used is primary data obtained from direct interviews. The
research results show that there are two main priority attributes, six maintain
achievements, five low priority attributes, and two excessive attributes. Overall
satisfaction of organic rice farmers in Pematang Setrak Village is 77.35%, which
can be said that farmers are satisfied with the performance of field agricultural
instructors.
