Analisis Tingkat Kenyamanan Termal di Lantai Produksi Pabrik Mie Aceh H. Jamil
Analysis of Thermal Comfort on the Production Floor of the Aceh Noodle Factory
Abstract
Thermal comfort is a condition in which a person feels comfortable with the
temperature of their environment. Thermal comfort in the workplace, especially in
the food processing industry, is influenced by temperature, humidity, air velocity,
and heat radiation. Uncomfortable conditions can increase the risk of health
problems for workers, such as fatigue, dehydration, and heat stress. This study was
conducted on the production floor of the UMKM Mie Aceh H Jamil which has a
high working temperature and poor ventilation. The purpose of this study was to
determine the level of thermal comfort on the production floor and provide
suggestions for improvements to achieve thermal comfort. The research method
uses a quantitative approach by measuring thermal parameters on the production
floor and analyzing them using the CBE Thermal Comfort Tool software to
calculate PMV and PPD values. The results of the analysis show that the thermal
conditions on the production floor are not yet comfortable. Proposed improvements
are focused on improving ventilation and regulating air temperature on the
production floor.
