dc.description.abstractThe development of mobile phones is progressing very quickly, one example that is widely known on the market is smartphones using the Android operating system. One of the advantages of the Android operating system compared to other operating systems is that it is open source so that anyone can develop it. The aim of this research is to provide an integrated information system for agriculture based on Android at the UPT Mekanisasi Pertanian so that it is able to present information about agricultural tools and machines in Provinsi sumatera Utara as well as becoming an alternative media that can help the public in searching for information via Android devices. The steps in this research are to use the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) method, namely by conducting system analysis and design, carrying out system design, building an information system/creating a mobile web, conducting trials (testing), system implementation, management (maintenance), namely maintenance and documentation. The result of this research is a system that is expected to make it easier for UPT Mekanisasi Pertanian Provinsi Sumatera Utara officers to disseminate information about agricultural tools and machines in Provinsi Sumatera Utara, as well as fulfill and help the needs of farmers using machinery in flexible, fast, accurate information media, safe and simple display can make it easy for users to understand and can be accessed remotely in different places and at the same time. The website display is created to be able to interact intensively with the server in the form of input-output, which uses the PHP and MySQL programming languages.en_US
