dc.description.abstract | One of the efforts to increase oil palm production is to optimize frond growth. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of polyhalite fertilizer on the fronds of oil palm plants in saline soil. The research was conducted in Paluh Merbau Village, Percut District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra Province, 3o43'13.6 “U 98o44'28.5 ”T, starting from March 2023 to September 2023. This study used a non-factorial Randomized Group Design (RAK) with 5 treatments, namely: T1 : 100% Potassium from KCl, T2: 100% Potassium from Polyhalite Fertilizer, T3: 25% Potassium from KCl + 75% Potassium from Polyhalite Fertilizer, T4: 50% Potassium from KCl + 50% Potassium from Polyhalite Fertilizer, T5: Giving 75% Potassium from KCl + 25% Potassium from Polyhalite Fertilizer. Polyhalite fertilizer has no significant effect on the number of fronds, rachis length, number of leaflets, Length and width of leaflets and leaf area in oil palm plants in saline soils. | en_US |
