The finishing and polishing process of acrylic resin dentures produces acrylic resin debris particles that obstruct the operator's vision and breathing. These acrylic resin debris particles can be inhaled because they vary in size from 1-100 micrometer. The long-term impact of exposure to this dust is the emergence of pneumoconiosis. The aim of this study is to create an automatic suction device for acrylic resin debris particles to protect the operator from the scattering of acrylic resin debris during the denture-making process. The tools and materials needed include acrylic board, Atmega328 microcontroller, 20x4 LCD, GP2Y1010AU0F dust sensor, PMS5003 air quality sensor, jumper cables, resistors, transistors, power outlets, cables, PCB and LED lights. The steps for creating the device began with collecting of supporting data, followed by device design, system modeling, assembly, testing, and trial runs with selected respondents. The resulting device is an acrylic resin debris suction device dimensions 72 centimeter in length, 30 centimeter in wide and 31 in centimeter high with a weight of 8 in kilogram and operated by using electric current. The device will activate the vacuum system and automatically suctions when the sensor detects dustshaped debris with a concentration of 100 micrograms/cubic meter in the device's workspace, which is displayed on the LCD screen. This device is also includes with a handpiece hole, light, gloves, magnifying glass and dust bag, facilitating the operator’s work. The acrylic resin debris suctioned from the workspace is well-collected in the dust bag without any leakage. This device was tested on 4 respondents, consisting of 2 students and 2 teaching staff. It can be concluded that the Cauxys device, equipped with a GP2Y1010AU0F, PMS5003 air quality sensor and a vacuum system, can automatically suction acrylic resin debris effectively.en_US
