dc.description.abstractOne way to restore lost tooth function is with the use of a denture. When dentists or dental technicians perform finishing and polishing of dentures, small-sized acrylic resin debris is very easy to inhale so that in the long run it can cause respiratory diseases such as pneumoconiosis. The purpose of this activity is to produce a device that can prevent the scattering of acrylic resin particles in the air to provide effective protection when operators perform finishing and polishing processes on dentures. The components needed are acrylic board, Arduino Uno, PMS5003 dust sensor, vacuum motor, dynamo, stepper motor, lead screw, LCD, LED, lup, glove, dust bag and Adjustable Leg. The stage of making the tool starts with collecting supporting data, designing, modeling the system, making the Work Chamber and Adjustable Leg, assembling components, assembling tools, testing tools, checking tools by BPAFK Medan City, and testing tool functions on target users. The results obtained are Actprose tools that function to suck acrylic resin debris, measuring a maximum length of 40 cm, width of 30 cm, and height of 115.4 cm with a weight of 35 kg. The vacuum system is automatically activated when the sensor detects debris concentration above 50 μg/m3 in the Work Chamber displayed on the LCD screen while the robotic system works by pressing the button on the LCD Housing. The tool has passed the Medan City BPAFK test standardized SNI IEC 60601-1: 2014 includes insulation resistance test, power supply voltage, earth lekeage, touch current, vacuum suction power pressure test, and material strength test but this tool still requires improvement of the Grounding system, so it can be concluded that the Actprose tool is successful in preventing the scattering of acrylic resin particles in the air.en_US
