Users Perception of Library Services at SMA Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan Deli Serdang Regency
Abstract
This research aimed to determine users' perception of library services at SMA Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan Deli Serdang Regency. The research method used was descriptive quantitative with a population of 157 people and a sample size of 61 people.The sampling technique used in this research was purposive sampling. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation and questionnaires. Based on the research findings, the users' perception of library services at SMA Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan Deli Serdang Regency showed that the users' perception of staff performance in service (Affect of Service) had an average score of 3.31, indicating a fairly satisfactory result. Furthermore, the users' perception of information quality and information access (Information Control) had an average score of 2.93, showing a fairly satisfactory result. Finally, the users' perception of library facilities and infrastructure (Library As Place) had an average score of 3.15, indicating a fairly satisfactory result. The conclusion showed that the users' perception of library services at SMA Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan Deli Serdang Regency was classified as fairly satisfied with an average score of 3.13.
