    Abstract
Background. Stroke was a prevalent neurological condition and a significant factor in mortality and disability globally. It could be identified through CT scans of the head, regarded as the gold standard. A CT scan conducted immediately after symptom onset could reveal occlusion in key brain vessels, particularly the middle cerebral artery, and facilitate the assessment of the ASPECT score, which evaluated ten areas supplied by this artery. Additionally, the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) was used upon patient admission and discharge, serving as a predictor of outcomes for stroke patients. Objective. This study aimed to determine the relationship between the ASPECT score and the final clinical outcomes of inpatients with ischemic stroke at RSUP Haji Adam Malik. Methods. The study utilized data from 75 respondents, employing frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, and chi-square tests to evaluate the relationship between variables. Results. Frequency analysis revealed a varied distribution of final clinical symptoms, with 40% of patients experiencing moderate symptoms and 66.7% showing good clinical progress. Chi-square test results indicated a significant relationship between final clinical symptoms and the ASPECT score (p < 0.001). Demographic analysis showed that most respondents were aged 56-64 years, with a predominance of males (62.7%). Conclusion. This study provided valuable insights into the factors influencing patients' clinical conditions and highlighted the necessity for greater attention to clinical symptoms in health management.
