This study is titled "Analysis of Mandarin Reduplication in the One Thousand and One Nights Tales on the Limao Gushi Website." The aim of this research is to analyze the patterns, types, and functions of reduplication in Mandarin found in the story "狐狸和狼" (Húlí hé láng) from the One Thousand and One Nights collection. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, which allows the researcher to gain an in-depth understanding of reduplication through text analysis. The data source was obtained from the story text and analyzed using morphological theory. The findings show that there are 61 cases of reduplication with varying patterns, including AA, AABB, ABAB, A一A, and A了A. Mandarin reduplication serves to reinforce meaning and emphasize the intensity of emotions or actions. This research is expected to contribute to the understanding of Mandarin reduplication.
