dc.description.abstract | This study seeks to analyze the correlation between library services and the enhancement of student academic performance at SMA Negeri 1 Pangururan. A quantitative approach was applied, specifically utilizing a causal associative research design. The sample was selected through purposive sampling. From a total population of 1,080 students, a representative sample of 92 was randomly chosen based on predefined criteria. Data collection methods included observation, interviews, questionnaires, and document analysis. Instrument quality was evaluated using validity and reliability testing. Data analysis employed simple linear regression and R² analysis. Hypothesis testing was conducted using F-tests and t-tests to determine statistical significance. The school library services at SMA Negeri 1 Pangururan are administered in alignment with the Guidelines for School Library Management issued by the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia (2015), encompassing four key indicators with the following outcomes. First, circulation services (borrowing) exhibit a correlation with student achievement at a rate of 84.89%, indicating a moderate association. Second, reference services show a correlation rate of 86.68%, suggesting a strong association with student achievement. Third, in-library reading services demonstrate a correlation rate of 85.59%, indicating a moderate association with student achievement. Fourth, additional services show a correlation rate of 84.34%, reflecting a weaker association with student achievement. Overall, the findings suggest that school library services are positively and significantly associated with student academic performance, indicating that improvements in library services are likely to correspond to higher levels of student achievement. | en_US |
