The Relationship of Individual Characteristics, Gadget Availability, Family Support with Mobile JKN Utilization in Communities of Kualuh Hulu Subdistrict Labuhanbatu Utara District in 2024
Abstract
The government always strives to improve the quality of public health with social security. BPJS membership in Labura Regency in 2023 was 285,038 people or 70.9 percent of the total population. Mobile JKN is a new breakthrough presented by BPJS Health which can make it easier for users to register, change and find membership data, obtain First Level Health Facility (FKTP) and Advanced Level Referral Facility (FKTL) services as well as make it easier for users to provide criticism or suggestions . Lack of knowledge and unavailability of gadgets is one of the factors why people don’t use mobile JKN. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship of characteristics gadget availability, family support with the use of mobile JKN in community Kualuh Hulu District. The type of research used is quantitative research. The sample in this research was 100 people from the Kualuh Hulu District community who were taken using purposive sampling techniques. The research results found that the distribution of the proportion of JKN mobile application utilization in Kualuh Hulu District in 2024 as many 36 people (36%). The research results also show that there is a significant relationship between employment, gadget availability, knowledge, and family support and the use of the JKN mobile application, and there is no relationship between age and education and the use of the JKN mobile application. It is hoped that the government or local BPJS Health can provide outreach regarding the use of the JKN mobile application in Kualuh Hulu District so that the people of Kualuh Hulu District know and are able to use the JKN mobile application.
