dc.description.abstractSanitation problems are a problem that still not resolved in Indonesia. One place that has the potential to transmit disease is the school environment, if the sanitation of the school environment is not maintained properly, where the education unit is a place that has the main strategic role to teach and prepare human resources in educating the nation's life, so that the condition of the school environment must be maintained cleanly, comfortably, and healthily by fulfilling adequate school facilities and infrastructure and good sanitation of the school environment. Students' knowledge, attitudes, and actions about PHBS are also very important to avoid the spread of disease. The purpose of this study was to determine the sanitary condition of the environment, student's knowledge and attitudes about clean and healthy living behavior at SD HKBP Sidikalang. This type of research uses a survey method with a descriptive approach. The population in this study was all students of SD HKBP Sidikalang. The number of samples was 56 students taken using the slovin formula method. The data collection method was done by observation, questionnaire, interview while data analysis was done by univariate analysis. The results showed that the sanitary condition of the school environment still did not meet the requirements referring to Kepmenkes No.1429 / MENKES / SK / XII / 2006 concerning guidelines for the implementation of school environmental health. Students' knowledge of clean and healthy living behavior in the category is less good (62.5%), student attitudes are included in the good category (91.1%), and student actions are in the good category (96.4%). Students of SD HKBP Sidikalang experience more respiratory health complaints (80.4%), followed by digestive health complaints (30.4%), and skin health complaints (26.8%).en_US
