dc.description.abstractFatigue is one of the health problems experienced by workers as a result of the work performed which can pose a risk of bodily injury, especially for workers who act as drivers. Fatigue is defined as a condition that varies for each person but everyone experiencing fatigue is very at risk of experiencing decreased performance. This study aims to determine the factors associated with fatigue in Metro Deli corridor 4 drivers in Medan city. The research was conducted with a quantitative cross sectional design on 32 drivers working on corridor 4 Metro Deli. The Spearman Rank test to see the relationship between factors associated with fatigue. Fatigue is calculated using the Industrial Fatigue Research Committee (IFRC) questionnaire. Sleep quality uses the Groningen Sleep Quality Scale questionnaire. The results showed that 12 (37.5%) drivers experienced low fatigue, 15 drivers (46.9%) experienced moderate fatigue, and 5 drivers (15.6%) experienced high fatigue. Based on the results of statistical tests, the p value is obtained in age (p value = 0.042), body mass index (p value = 0.011), driving duration (p value = 0.019), and rest time (p value = 0.009) which means there is a significant relationship to fatigue in drivers. While in sleep quality (p value = 0.856) which means there is no significant relationship to fatigue in drivers. The company is recommended to carry out a program to maintain a diet by conducting socialization of knowledge of a balanced nutritional diet, prioritizing the departure of drivers aged more than 35 years to make early departures, and for all drivers to take advantage of the rest time provided by the company, so that the incidence of fatigue felt by drivers of corridor 4 Metro Deli drops and workers can carry out more optimal work activities.en_US
