Abstract
Pregnancy is the period when there is a fetus in a woman's womb. Physiological changes in pregnant women can cause minor health problems during pregnancy. The problems found in pregnant women are constipation, leg cramps, stomach cramps, swelling of the hands and feet, back pain, headaches, frequent urination, body weakness and fatigue, and shortness of breath. Efforts to overcome minor health problems in pregnant women can be done with progressive muscle relaxation techniques. The progressive muscle relaxation technique is done by tensing all the muscles and releasing them with the focus on the muscle. Nursing care was provided on 13-25 May 2024 to the patient. The author carries out nursing care starting from assessment, analyzing problems, preparing plans, and carrying out nursing actions as well as nursing evaluations that refer to the goals and outcome criteria. The results obtained after carrying out nursing care, the response from the three pregnant women was very good, giving positive feedback, and feeling comfortable and relaxed when carrying out the progressive muscle relaxation technique. It is recommended that pregnant women implement this in their daily lives to improve their health, maintain nutritional patterns, get enough rest, and exercise regularly according to their body's needs.
