Management of Pain Services and Nursing Care for Fracture Patients Using Warm Compress Therapy in the Rindu B3 Room at Adam Malik Hospital
Abstract
Musculoskeletal problems are a worldwide problem today. Accidents or physical injuries often occur on roads, homes, schools, workplaces and others. Based on Riskesdas in 2018, the majority of injuries occurred in the home environment at 44.7%, on the highway at 31.4%, at work at 9.1%, at school at 6.5% and in other places at 8.3%. One of the consequences of this accident is a fracture. The purpose of this writing is to describe pain nursing care for fracture patients by applying warm compress therapy in the Rindu B3 room at Adam Malik Hospital. The results of the study showed that the patient's main complaint was pain that increased when the patient moved. The nursing diagnoses that arise are acute pain, risk of constipation, impaired physical mobility, impaired skin integrity and self-care deficit. Most nursing action plans can be implemented in nursing implementation and nursing evaluation of nursing diagnoses that are found to be partially resolved. It is hoped that room nurses will be more active in implementing and documenting to improve the quality of providing nursing care to patients.
