dc.description.abstract | In general, project schedules are typically created manually, which can lead to
delays during implementation in the field. This is because uncertainties are not
included in planning the project schedule. Delays in completing one task will result
in the postponement of the next task. This research aims to reschedule to minimize
delays in implementing the Savanna Sumatra Bridge Construction Project. This
research uses the PERT Method & Monte Carlo Simulation in rescheduling, which
involves using 3 time assumptions for each project work item: optimistic duration,
most likely duration, and pessimistic duration. The research results using the PERT
method obtained a project completion schedule of 162 working days with a 99.9%
probability of project completion, 34 days faster than the project target duration of
196 working days. In the Monte Carlo Simulation with 3000 iterations using Oracle
Crystal Ball software, the Mean project completion duration obtained was 162.77
days with a 50% probability and a Mean Std.Error of 0.11. To achieve a 99.9%
probability in the Monte Carlo simulation with 3000 iterations, the project
completion duration is 184 days, which is longer compared to the duration using
the PERT method, which is greater than the duration using the PERT method, but
still faster than the schedule plan of 196 days. | en_US |
