The United Nations 2030 Agends, through the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), emphasizes the need for renewable energy development to address global challenger and climate change. In Indonesia, the reliance on coal energy and CO2 emissions from coal-fired power plants (PLTU) lead to air quality issues and public health concerns. This thesis research aims to enhance the performance of vortex turbines through an experimental approach, using a test apparatus equipped with a data acquistrion system The maty evaluates the effects of modifications in the flore angle, turbine blade inclination, and impeller material on the performance of a Gravitational Water Farsus Power Plant (GWVP) The research examines the impact of varying blade numbers (3.7, and blades) and valve opening sises on the wat turbine's performance, including flow rate, torque, rotational speed, and nobi power. Testa were conducted at three water flow rates (0.0223 0.0154, and 2014년) with a constant water head of 1 meter. The results show that the turbine wath 3 hindes achieved a maximum flow rate of 9.0225 m and the highest shaft rotational speed of 78 rpm without londong. The maximum power war obtained with 4 kg load, producing a tongur of 7.85 Nm and an efficiency of 41.19% Increasing the number of Mades improved efficiency with the 9-blade nurbine achieving o muzimam efficiency of 83.42% at a flow rate of 0.0/8 ms 4 water velocity of 2.3 mprovadod the best performance in terma of RPM and turbine power, but efficiency tended to decrease as nurbine power increased.
