dc.description.abstractThe research aims to test the factors affecting the employee performance at Indonesian Oil Palm Research Institute in Medan on communication and generational differences. Samples are selected using the Slovin formula and 60 people are obtained as respondents. Data are analyzed using multiple linear regression, consisting of Classical Assumtion Test (Normality Test, Multicollinearity Test, and Heteroscedasticity Test), Hypothesis Test ( T Test and F Test), and Regression Coefficient Analysis. The result indicate that: 1) communication affects employee performance, 2) generational differences do not affects employee performance, 3) communication and generational differences simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance.en_US
