Five & co cafe is a cafe that sells all kinds of food and beverages. Five & co cafe,
recently, continues to receive complains from customers regarding the ordering
system for all menu items, delivery orders and customers service. Custimer
encounter prolonged waiting periods for their food and beverages to be ready and
perspective of the cutomers. Problems occured in the business process of five & co
cafe can be improved by designing a new bussiness process. A new business
operations and then conducting a mapping procedure. Moreover, business process
analysis is carried and to identify the weakness of the business process so a business
proposals, one of which will be choseb later. The mapping is carried out using
IDEF0 as a tool. Based on business process analysis results, it indicates that the
improvements are in the form of removal useless process and addition of the
process to overcome the problem, as well as by giving responsibility as the owner
process, making the form of goods procurement, and making Sop for eachprocess.
The research results indicate that the business procedures that require immadiate
improvement are: sales procedure, production process, purchasing process, and
complaints management process.
