Stunting is a health issue that requires early attention and intervention, as it not only affects physical growth but also cognitive development, which impacts the quality of human resources in the future. A lack of knowledge serves as a barrier to stunting prevention, which is crucial during a child's First 1000 Days of Life (HPK). Prospective brides play a vital role in stunting prevention by improving their knowledge and attitudes to mitigate risk factors that could lead to stunting in their future children. Therefore, enhancing knowledge is a key effort in reducing stunting rates. This study aims to examine the effect of stunting prevention education on the knowledge and attitudes of prospective brides in the working area of Datuk Bandar Public Health Center. Tanjungbalai City. This study is a quasi-experimental design with a pre- and post-test without a control group. The population consisted of 56 prospective brides in the working area of the Datuk Bandar Public Health Center, selected using a total sampling method. The research instruments included validated and reliable questionnaires on knowledge and attitudes. Data analysis was conducted using the Wilcoxon signed rank test, yielding a p-value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant effect of stunting prevention education on the knowledge and attitudes of prospective brides in the study area. It is hoped that stunting prevention education programs can be widely implemented as part of promotive and preventive efforts to reduce stunting prevalence.
