Design and Development of a Motorcycle Security System Using a Vibration Sensor Based on IoT
Abstract
Motorbike theft is a crime that often occurs anywhere and at any time. Many people
have become victims of motorbike theft. It seems that there is no effective prevention to
minimize victims of motorbike theft, and there is also a lack of a system to provide
warnings as early as possible that motorbike thieves are coming. For this reason, there
is a need for a long-distance motor vehicle security system. Not only does it increase
the accuracy of flood detection, but later it can be monitored in real time so as to provide
notification of dangerous conditions for motorbikes at the right time. The aim of making
this tool is to produce hardware and software for a motorbike security system to prevent
crime which can be controlled via a smartphone device with a NodeMCU connection as
a WIFI transmitter. The working system of the tool is when the padlock that has been
installed on the motorcycle disc, the vibration sensor receives a vibration frequency
above 500 (Hz), then the buzzer will sound and the notification "Warning! Vibration
detected on the padlock!" will be sent to the telegram application.
