Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of factors of infrastructure availability, human resources, tax incentives, political stability and investment climate on the acceleration of investment in the renewable energy sector (Hydroelectric Power Plant) and regional economic development in North Tapanuli Regency. The number of respondent population consists of: Taput Hydroelectric Power Plant Investors related to 23 hydroelectric power plant locations, the Government and the local community as many as 308 respondents and all of them are research samples (saturated samples). The data analysis method is carried out quantitatively with descriptive analysis, verification analysis and correlation. The conclusion is that infrastructure availability is related and has a significant effect on the acceleration of investment in the renewable energy sector (Hydroelectric Power Plant) in North Tapanuli Regency. Human resources are related and have a significant effect on the acceleration of investment in the renewable energy sector (Hydroelectric Power Plant) in North Tapanuli Regency. Tax incentives are related and have a significant effect on the acceleration of investment in the renewable energy sector (Hydroelectric Power Plant) in North Tapanuli Regency. Political stability is related and has a significant effect on the acceleration of investment in the renewable energy sector (Hydroelectric Power Plant) in North Tapanuli Regency. Investment climate is related and has a significant effect on the acceleration of investment in the renewable energy sector (Hydroelectric Power Plant) in North Tapanuli Regency. Availability of infrastructure, human resources, tax incentives, political stability and investment climate are simultaneously related and have a significant effect on the acceleration of investment in the renewable energy sector (Hydroelectric Power Plant) in North Tapanuli Regency. Availability of infrastructure, human resources, tax incentives, political stability, investment climate in the renewable energy sector (Hydroelectric Power Plant) in North Tapanuli Regency are simultaneously related and have a significant effect on regional economic development in North Tapanuli Regency.
