Management of Services and Nursing Care for Post Orif Distal Humerus Clients with Bleeding Monitoring in Room RB 3 Haji Adam Malik Central General Hospital Medan
Abstract
A fracture is a break in the continuity of bone tissue, which is usually accompanied by injury to the surrounding soft tissue, muscle damage, tendon rupture, blood vessel damage, and injury to body organs and is determined according to the type and extent, a fracture occurs if the bone is subjected to stress that is greater than expected. more than can be absorbed. The World Health Organization (WHO) records that more than 5 million people die every year and around 1.3 million people experience physical disabilities due to closed fractures. Meanwhile, in Indonesia in 2021 there were 1,775 fracture cases (3.8%) from 14,127 sharp object traumas. or blunt objects that experienced rib fractures as many as 236 people (1.7%). The purpose of this writing is to describe nursing care by monitoring bleeding in fracture patients in Rindu Room B 3, Haji Adam Malik Hospital. The results of the study showed that the main complaint was bleeding in the post-operative fracture area since being admitted to the hospital. Nursing diagnoses include risk of bleeding, acute pain, impaired physical mobility, impaired skin integrity, and self-care deficits. The nursing action plan that has been prepared has been implemented and the nursing evaluation has been completed. Nurses are expected to further improve nursing care services by monitoring bleeding in post orifice fracture patients to improve the quality of service and patient health status.
