Urolithiasis is one of the diseases of the urinary system that is still found in Indonesia, which consists of disorders in the kidneys, ureters, bladder, and urethra. Pain after surgery is a physiological matter, but it's one of the most feared complaints by clients after surgery. There are two approaches to pain management: non-pharmacological therapy and non-farmacologic therapy, including guide imaging and classical music therapy. The aim of the study is to provide nursing orphanage with guide imagery techniques and classical music therapy in reducing the intensity of acute pain in post-operative patients with Urolithiasis using the Defense and Veterans Pain Rating Scale. (DVPRS). The location of the senior practice was carried out in the nursing room of Mahoni Meranti Hospital Prof. Dr. Chairuddin Panusunan Lubis University of North Sumatra. Guided imaging techniques and classical music therapy were given to three patients after surgery on Urolithiasis. On the first day the author gave guided imagery techniques, on the second day practiced giving classical music therapy and on the third day the patient was given guided imaging techniques and classical musical therapy. The therapy was given to divert the patient's attention to the pain experienced and give a feeling of relaxation. The author hopes that nurses will be able to optimize nursing care through the application of guide imagery methods and classical music therapy in reducing the intensity of acute pain in post-operative patients.
