This study aims to examine the effect of work-family conflict on work productivity, with burnout as a mediating variable, among employees at PT. X's representative office in Medan. Prevalence of employees experiencing simultaneous work pressures and family responsibilities, which can potentially lead to physical and emotional exhaustion (burnout) and decrease productivity. The research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data was collected using a Likert scale. Including the Work Productivity scale compiled based on Beaton's Work Productivity theory (2009), the Work-Family Conflict scale compiled based on Netemeyer et al.'s Work-Family Conflict theory (1996), and The Maslach-Trisni Burnout Inventory: Adaptation for Indonesia (2022) to measure Burnout. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to test hypotheses involving both direct and mediated relationships among these variables. The findings show that work-family conflict has a positive and significant effect on burnout. Furthermore, burnout was found to have a negative impact on work productivity. Additionally, the mediation analysis results indicate that burnout significantly mediates the relationship between work-family conflict and work productivity. Burnout as a significant mediating variable between work-family conflict and work productivity, indicates that PT.X Medan City needs to pay attention to the factors that cause burnout in employees who are married which have a negative impact on their work productivity. By doing so, the company can enhance employee well-being and foster improved job performance.en_US
