The ABC IPLT is one of the programs being carried out by the district government
and the PUPR Ministry with the aim of making the environment of ABC Regency a
decent and clean area and a world class tourist area. The project has a total
construction cost of Rp. 11,000,000,000,- Construction of the IPLT ABC meets the
requirements for medium business qualifications with HPS above IDR 10 billion to
IDR 100 billion. Thus, there is potential for cost savings or increased cost efficiency
in developing this project and the method used to analyze is the value engineering
method. The value engineering method is used in this project because it is a method
that is able to save costs without reducing the value of existing functions. The steps
taken in this research include several stages such as the data collection stage which
is then followed by the information stage, creative stage, analysis stage,
development stage, and reporting stage which contains recommendations. From
the results of the development evaluation using value engineering, there are 7 types
(items) of high cost work, namely IPLT office and guard house work, Solid
Separation Chamber (SSC) work, Sludge Drying Bed (SDB) work, Regional
Operational Road Construction, mechanical and equipment, facultative tanks, and
truck hangar and workshop work. Savings obtained from the evaluation results
using value engineering are the construction of an IPLT office and guard house
amounting to IDR 120,477,681.25 or 0.14% of the total project value. SSC tank
work can provide savings of IDR 108,517,660.01 or 0.090% of the total project
value, SDB tank work can provide savings of IDR 83,366,974.86. or 0.17% of the
total project value, regional operational road construction work is capable of
providing savings of IDR 497,647,978.7 or 0.29% of the total project value.,
facultative work is capable of providing savings of IDR 85,349,233, 14 or 0.09% of
the total project value, mechanical work and equipment Able to provide savings of
IDR 57,861,150.00 or 0.29% of the total project value, truck hangar and workshop
work Able to provide savings of IDR 49,091,251, 54 or 0, 09% of the total project
value so that the total savings obtained in this project is IDR 1,002,311,929.50 or
0.94% of the total project value
