Pengelolaan Asuhan Keperawatan pada Santri Putra dengan Penerapan Self-Management pada Pencegahan Scabies Melalui Media Booklet di Pesantren Darularafah Raya Deli Serdang

Abstract

Scabies is an under-recognized global health problem with very high prevalence in the world. Scabies generally occurs in areas with high population density, this disease spreads easily and is influenced by environmental cleanliness. Personal hygiene and maintenance of health really determine health conditions, individuals should have personal initiatives to prevent disease transmission and maintain health. One effort that can be made to increase knowledge in preventing scabies, especially among students in Islamic boarding schools is by implementing Self-Management or Self-Care Management. In writing this senior practical, the author carries out nursing care management in the form of health education for male students regarding the application of self-management in scabies prevention so that male students' knowledge can increase. The implementation results show that there is an increase in the knowledge of male students regarding scabies prevention obtained from the results of the Pre and Post Tests that have been carried out.
