dc.description.abstractOxytocin massage is a massage technique along the vertebrae to the fifth and sixth costal to increase the production of the hormones prolactin and oxytocin. The hormones prolactin and oxytocin have an important role in the formation and release of breast milk. Mothers with caesarea sectio tend to have a more difficult postpartum period compared to normal labor due to post-surgical wounds. The aim of this senior practicum is to apply oxytocin massage in nursing care for mothers after caesarea sectio. Nursing care was carried out on 20-23 May 2024 for two patients after cesarea sectio by providing education and applying oxytocin massage with an innovation to carried out up to the waist. During the education and application of oxytocin massage, the patient was cooperative and responded well. The results of the application show that patients can understand the oxytoin massage material, feel comfortable and relaxed during the massage and are motivated to apply it at home with the help of their family.en_US
