dc.description.abstractStroke is a clinical sign that occurs quickly or suddenly in the form of a focal (or global) deficit in brain function, with symptoms lasting 24 hours or more. Range of motion (ROM) exercises are exercises carried out to maintain or improve the level of perfection of the ability to move joints normally and completely to increase muscle mass and muscle tone. The main focus of writing this report is to analyze the effect of Physical Exercise Therapy on the Development of Range of Motion in Stroke Patients in Asam Kumbang Village, Medan Selayang District. This research uses experimental methods to test the effect of the types of physical exercise therapy used. In carrying out this senior practicum, the author provides nursing care for stroke patients with non-pharmacological management, namely physical exercise therapy. Nursing care was carried out on 2 stroke patients with the implementation results showing that the patients understood the types of exercise therapy that could be carried out in stroke conditions.en_US
