Mental disorder is a condition of disruption of mental functions, emotions, thoughts, will, psychomotor and verbal behavior, which becomes a group of clinical symptoms accompanied by sufferers and results in disruption of individual humanistic functions. Hallucinations are the loss of human ability to distinguish between internal and external stimuli. Patients who experience auditory hallucinations are characterized by hearing whispering voices or seeing shadows and feeling something through the senses of both touch, smell, taste, sight and hearing and are able to cause inappropriate responses. Auditory hallucinations require good handling so that a person can control himself from the impact that will occur. The impact that occurs in someone with auditory hallucinations is the loss of self-control so that it is easier to panic, hysterics, weakness, excessive fear, bad behavior such as doing dangerous things or aggressive actions so that the risk of hurting himself and his surroundings. This practice aims to get an overview of nursing care for patients with auditory hallucinations at Prof. Ildrem Medan Mental Hospital. This practical method is carried out by conducting an assessment and implementing SP1-SP4 strategies. So that it can increase the patient's knowledge in controlling his hallucinations by rebuking.
