Pengelolaan Asuhan Keperawatan pada Remaja Putri melalui Psikoedukasi Literasi Kesehatan dalam Upaya Meningkatkan Kesehatan Mental di Pondok Pesantren Darularafah Raya Medan

Abstract

Mental health problems in adolescents in Islamic boarding schools can be caused by a series of biological and physiological changes, hormones during the preservation period, changes in emotionality, social influences, peers, interest in the opposite sex which result in adjustment disorders in adolescents which can trigger continuous stress. and depression. This research aims to identify young women's knowledge about mental health problems and provide psychoeducation for young women regarding mental health at Pondok Pesantren Darularafah Raya Medan. This research was conducted on 5 young women at the Darularafah Raya Islamic Boarding School, Medan. After carrying out the assessment, three protection problems were found, namely: Deficit of knowledge about Mental Health related to lack of exposure, ineffective coping information related to inadequate coping strategies, and situational low self-esteem in adolescents related to disturbed self-image. The interventions carried out include psychoeducation which aims to improve teenagers' abilities about mental health and deep talk (in-depth conversations) to explore the problems they are facing and currently feeling. The result of this research is that there is an increase in knowledge about mental health as evidenced by an increase in post test scores. Apart from that, the results of filling out the deeptalk assessment questionnaire and psychoeducation regarding coping strategies to resolve individual coping problems were not effective, respondents were able to share their feelings during the deeptalk.
