Management of Nursing Services and Care for Clients with Auditory Hallucination Disorders in the Implementation of Group Activity Therapy (TAK) at The Prof. Ildrem Mental Hospital, Medan
Abstract
Auditory hallucinations is a condition in which the client hears voices and sounds that are not related to real stimulation. The efforts to optimize the management of patients with auditory hallucination disorders are through the implementation of group activity therapy. This study aims to determine the variation in patient responses after being given TAK and the factors that influence TAK results. This study focused on a case study of two auditory hallucination patients with a focus on the study of the implementation of hallucination TAK. The implementation of hallucination TAK was carried out through the preparation stage, orientation stage, work stage, termination stage, evaluation stage and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it showed that there were variations in responses from both patients after being given TAK and these variations in responses were influenced by several factors including the level of hallucinations, family support, experience, knowledge and attitudes of patient non-compliance in the use of antipsychotic drugs.
