Humans have different faces from one another. Race, genetics, hormones, gender, facial components, nutrition, and food consumption patterns influence the food consumption patterns affect the shape of the face, creating different facial characteristics and proportions characteristics and proportions of different faces. This study aims to determine the comparison of facial types based on based on the concept of facial index and golden proportion. The type of research used is descriptive analytic with a cross sectional approach. Samples were measured for maximum facial height, morphological facial height, and facial width to find the proportion value and percentage of facial index. Statistical tests results obtained mean maximum facial height 19.96 cm, morphological height 12.51 cm, face width 12.67 cm, proportion value 1.58, and the average face percentage is 98.77%. The results showed that facial shape based on facial index is dominated by hyperleptoprosopic with 51 samples (77.3%), leptoprosopic with 13 samples (19.7%), and hyperleptoprosopic with 13 samples (19.7%). with 13 samples (19.7%), mesoprosopic with 2 samples (3%), and euryprosopic and hypereuryprosopic totaling 0.3%. and hypereuryprosopic amounted to 0 (0%). Face shape based on golden proportion is dominated by euryprosopic with 43 samples (65.2%), mesoprosopic with 11 samples (16.7%), and hypereuryprosopic with 0 (0%). with 11 samples (16.7%), and leptoprosopic with 12 samples (18.2%). Conclusion The conclusion of this study is that gender does not significantly affect the measurement results of facial height and width. facial height and width.en_US
