Cyberbullying is a growing phenomenon among adolescents,involving bullying behavior through digital media that negatively impacts mental health. This study aims to identify the factors influencing cyberbullying among adolescents aged 12-15 years in Medan. A descriptive quantitative design was used with 108 respondents, students in grades VII-IX at a junior high school in Medan, selected through random sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire assessing adolescent social status, personality, social media usage, and parental support, which were validated and analyzed descriptively. The results show that the majority, of respondents were female (58.3%). The most common internet usage duration was 3-4 hours per day (30.6%),followed by more than 4 hours (25.9%), 1-2 hours (25.0%), and less than 1 hour (18.5%). Most respondents lived with their parents (85.2%), and 53 respondents (49.1%) reported having been victims of cyberbullying. Factors influencing cyberbullying included adolescent social status, personality, social media usage, and parental support. This study highlights the importance of parental support and positive peer interaction in preventing cyberbullying. Additionally, schools are encouraged to regularly conduct digital literacy programs and implement effective policies to address cyberbullying cases.
