Pengelolaan Pelayanan dan Asuhan Keperawatan An.K dengan Cerebral Edema di Ruang Rawat Inap Anak Rumah Sakit Prof. Dr. Chairuddin P. Lubis Universitas Sumatera Utara

Abstract

Cerebral edema is swelling of the brain as a relatively common phenomenon with various etiologies. The death rate in Indonesia is 7.3% (per 100,000) due to accidents, poisoning and trauma, which is one of the five causes of child death. This senior practical activity was carried out in the Children's Inpatient Room at Prof. Hospital. Dr. Chairuddin P. Lubis University of North Sumatra by conducting studies through interviews and observations. From the results of the study, it was found that documentation of nursing care was not optimal, and the provision of health education was not optimal in the children's inpatient room at Prof. Hospital. Dr. Chairuddin Panusunan Lubis, University of North Sumatra. Therefore, it is very necessary to improve the nursing services provided, such as increasing caring behavior in providing care, providing implementation of nursing care in accordance with nursing care standards appropriately and not forgetting to carry out documentation.
