Abstract

Management of diseases in old age is special. This is because diseases in old age usually do not stand alone (multipathology), the function of the body's organs has decreased, they are vulnerable to disease or stress, and more often require appropriate rehabilitation. Therefore, the elderly group requires special attention und efforis in the heulih seciur. The problem experienced by the elderly is inui iney experience many health problems due to increasing age. When talking about getting old, decline is the one that will be mentioned the most. Impaired physical mobility is a limitation in the physical movement of one or more extremities independently. Changes in the level of physical mobility can cause movement restrictions in the jorm of bed resi, restrictions on physical movement during the use of external assistive devices which can result in loss of motor function. The aim of this research is to improve the management of services and nursing care for elderly people with physical mobility impairments in the Base Masyhur sub-district, Medan Johor sub- district. Management of nursing services and care begins with an assessment of citems with physical mobility disorders, then analyzing the data and determining the diagnosis of the problem that will be raised, the intervention and implementation that will be provided, and the final stage, namely evaluation. The instrument used in this research is the bartel index to see the level of independence of the elderly. The results obtained from the 5 clients managed by the client showed the level of independence, namely the level of heavy, moderate and light dependence. The intervention given to clients with physical mobility disorders is in the form of ambulation support (ROM).
