    Abstract
Breast milk production in mothers undergoing cesarean delivery tends to be slower compared to normal delivery. This is due to a lack of exposure to the hormonal surge that occurs during normal labor, limited skin-to-skin contact, postoperative pain, and restricted mobility. Breast care is an effective method to increase breast milk production, facilitate the infant's consumption of nutrient-rich breast milk, reduce the risk of milk flow blockage, maintain breast hygiene, and ensure nipple elasticity to prevent cracking. The purpose of this intervention is to stimulate breast milk production and facilitate maternal comfort during breastfeeding. Assessment results indicated that Mrs. Y complained of insufficient breast milk production and that her baby was given formula milk. The formulated nursing diagnosis was ineffective breastfeeding related to inadequate breast milk supply. The expected outcome criteria were improved breastfeeding status, characterized by increased breast milk supply and flow. Most of the nursing care plan was carried out during the implementation phase. The implementation focused on providing breast care education to support milk secretion. During the evaluation phase, it was found that Mrs. Y's issue was resolved. Effective breastfeeding status was evidenced by increased breast milk supply and flow. It is recommended that nursing services continue to provide effective breast care to address breastfeeding issues in mothers.
