Pengelolaan Asuhan Keperawatan Nyeri Akut Dismenore pada Remaja dengan Terapi Endorphine Massage di Kecamatan Medan Baru

Abstract

Dysmenorrhea is a painful sensation of pain in the lower abdomen and is sometimes accompanied by headache, dizziness, diarrhea, bloating, nausea and vomiting, back pain and pain. Dysmenorrhea is a health problem in adolescents that often causes discomfort due to pain that has an impact on adolescent activities. Endorphin massage therapy is a light touch method that aims to control pain. The purpose of this senior practice is to be able to apply menstrual pain nursing care (dysmenorrhea) to adolescent girls with Endorphine Massage therapy. This implementation measures dysmenorrhea pain carried out for 30 minutes to 2 adolescents. The results obtained were that the pre-test of the adolescent dysmenorrhea pain scale was a scale of 7-8 (controlled severe pain) and the post test of the results of the pain scale of the two adolescents was a scale of 2-3 (mild pain scale). The characteristics of adolescents in the administration of endorphine massage therapy are adolescents who experience pain.
