    Abstract
Pain is an unpleasant sensory and emotional experience resulting from subjective tissue damage. Sensory complaints expressed as aches, pain, aches, and so on can be considered pain modalities. Pain is one of the most frequent complaints experienced by cancer patients. The pain experienced by breast cancer sufferers is caused by direct influence on the affected organs and direct influence on the affected soft tissue. One non-pharmacological therapy approach that can be used to reduce pain is Self Talk. Self Talk therapy provides many benefits where through Self Talk individuals can interpret their emotions and thoughts, change judgments and beliefs, provide reinforcement or teach themselves. The purpose of writing this report is to implement nursing care management using positive self-talk techniques with the priority of pain problems in breast cancer patients. Nursing care was provided for 3 days from 27 May 2024 to 29 May 2024 to 3 clients. The pain experiences obtained are contained in five themes for which the data has been processed, namely 1) the patient's feelings about the pain they feel; (2) pain management carried out by the patient; (4) emotional feelings experienced by the patient; (5) application of self-talk therapy to reduce pain. After giving positive self-talk therapy, the results obtained by the practitioner were a decrease in the intensity of pain felt by the patient. Advice for health workers is that providing positive self-talk therapy can be used as a non-pharmacological therapy for patients experiencing breast cancer pain.
