Management of Healthy Nursing Services and Care Mental Health: Readiness to Increase Adolescent Development in Psychological Aspects at SMPN 31 Medan
Abstract
Adolescence is the stage of human development aged 11 to 20 years. During this period, there was rapid growth and development, both physical and mental. One aspect of the adolescent development stage is psychological. The development of adolescents' psychological well-being in the form of autonomy, positive relationships with other people, mastery of the environment, personal growth, life goals, and self-acceptance. The aim of this senior practical report is to provide nursing care to adolescents at SMPN 31 Medan with a nursing diagnosis of readiness to increase self-concept to improve psychological development in adolescents. Nursing care was provided for two teenagers aged 13 and 14 years, male and female. The results of providing nursing care to the two teenagers showed an increase in the development of psychological well-being in six aspects, especially in aspects of autonomy and purpose in life. Mental nursing care for adolescents can be recommended to be carried out in health services so that it becomes an effort to improve the psychological development of adolescents.
