Motor skills are anything that causes movement in all parts of the body. Motor development is a process of individual activity with coordinated growth between physical, physiological and psychological. Gross motor delay is a broad term that describes when a child shows slower than normal skill development. This can involve crawling, standing, walking or even jumping. The purpose of writing this report is to provide nursing care to children with gross motor delay at the children's polyclinic of Hospital Prof. Dr. Chairuddin P Lubis by establishing a nursing diagnosis of growth and development disorders related to stimulation deficiency. Nursing care was provided to An.H aged 3 years 1 month 16 days. Based on the results of the assessment until evaluation that have been carried out, it is known that child are not able to walk with balance, climb stairs and jump, which children their age should be able to do. Thus, it can be concluded that children experience delays in gross motor development, especially in the legs, and children are unable to follow milestones according to their age. It is hoped that the results of this report can become an additional reference for pediatric nursing education as well as for parents who have children who are in the growth stage.
