Abstract

Adolescence is a period of learning to adapt to the environment outside the family, including school and society. However, school can be an environment that causes emotional and behavioral problems in teenagers such as bullying. Bullying has occurred a lot, especially in the world of education. The reasons for bullying are different, some are caused by the wrong choice of social circle, the school's lack of attention to cases of bullying that often occur at school as well as factors from less harmonious families such as children who always hear their parents fighting, physical and psychological violence. , as well as a lack of love from parents because they are busy working. One of the impacts of bullying on teenagers is experiencing anxiety. This senior practical report aims to implement it for teenagers who experience anxiety by providing Benson relaxation therapy. The methods used are lectures, discussions, demonstrations and re-demonstrations. The results of providing nursing care show that teenagers can demonstrate the Benson relaxation technique correctly and are able to overcome anxiety. Nursing care during adolescence can be recommended to be carried out in health services by empowering families through education to achieve child development tasks so as to prevent mental health problems in adolescents.
