Abstract

Endometriosis occurs in about 10% of all women of reproductive age, and occurs in about 30-45% of the infertile population accompanied by complaints of pelvic pain. Endometriosis is a disease characterized by the presence of endometrial glands and stroma outside the uterine cavity which causes chronic inflammation. The purpose of this work is to provide an overview of how to apply nursing care to patients with reproductive system disorders after endometriosis surgery. Nursing care management is carried out by taking case management in the maternity room of USU Hospital in women with post op reproductive disorders with endometriosis cysts. The implementation of the nursing care process began on May 20 - May 25, 2024. The nursing care process includes assessment, diagnosis, intervention, implementation and evaluation. This senior practice is carried out by carrying out nursing care with 3x meetings, namely 1 time during assessment and providing implementation of several nursing diagnoses, then 1 time to implement other nursing diagnoses. Based on the evaluation obtained, it can be concluded that the nursing care process carried out in patients with reproductive system disorders after endometriosis cyst surgery runs effectively. The success of nursing care is evidenced by the achievement of outcome criteria in accordance with the interventions provided based on the diagnosis of each patient, including reduced pain, patients able to perform early mobilization, no signs of infection, and patients say they understand about their illness. This study is expected to be a source of information for nursing students in providing nursing care to patients with endometriosis cyst disorders.
