    Abstract
    This research discusses the description of the performance of Reog Singo Menggolo art presented by the Turonggo Joyo Broto Association in Rengas Pulau Village, Medan Marelan District. The purpose of this research is to describe the performance of Reog Singo Menggolo which is a Javanese community art found in North Sumatra. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection through observation and interviews. The author uses the performance theory by Milton Singer, symbol theory by Dillistone and to discuss the musical structure using theory by Titon. The results showed that Reog Singo Menggolo art has 4 dance parts, namely (1) jathilan dance as an opening dance danced by women who depict beautiful and brave equestrian warriors, (2) bujangganong kecil dance as an entertainment dance danced by little boys by performing attractions, (3) bujangganong besar dance danced by men who depict Patih Klono Wijoyo and perform mystical martial arts attractions, and (4) singobarongan which is the core dance in Reog Singo Menggolo art which carries a mask called dhadak merak which reaches 1.5 meters in height and weighs approximately 50 kilograms. The form of songs that become accompaniment in the art of Reog Singo Menggolo has 2 gendhing accompaniments, namely gendhing sampak as an accompaniment to the jathilan and singobarongan dances, and gendhing giro as an accompaniment to the bujangganong kecil dance and the bujangganong besar dance.
