Pengelolaan Asuhan Keperawatan pada Remaja Putra dengan Penerapan PHBS untuk Mencegah Penyakit Scabies melalui Metode Edukasi Kesehatan ACJ (Active, Creative and Joyful) di Pesantren Darularafah Raya Medan

Abstract

Clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS) in schools is a set of behaviors that are practiced by students, teachers, and the community in the school environment on the basis of awareness as a learning result, thus that they are independently able to prevent diseases, improve health, and play an active role in creating a healthy environment. Clean and healthy living behaviors (PHBS) are a way to achieve better health and prevent skin diseases such as scabies. The high prevalence of scabies is generally found in environments with high density of residents and interpersonal contact, such as prisons, orphanages, and boarding schools. In an effort to optimize the improvement of clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS) in Islamic boarding schools, it is necessary to provide health education with the ACJ (Active, Creative and Joyful) method so that the delivery of material is not boring and easier to receive. The purpose of this senior practice is to find out the influence of providing health education through the ACJ (Active, Creative and Joyful) method at the Darularafah Raya Islamic boarding school. This study uses an educational method conducted to 5 male student clients. Based on the results of the management of nursing care in 5 male students, it was obtained that the knowledge of male students about PHBS at school, the improvement of PHBS to prevent scabies and the improvement of the ability of male students to wash their hands properly and correctly in six steps.
