Abstract

Adolescence is a period of developmental transition between childhood and adulthood. One example of the changes that occur is hormonal changes which will cause vaginal discharge problems. Vaginal discharge that comes out before and after the menstrual phase is still within normal limits, but teenagers must pay attention to personal hygiene from the reproductive organs so that the physiological condition does not turn pathological. Young women's lack of knowledge about vaginal discharge causes them to ignore it and take it as a trivial matter. For this reason, it is necessary to provide health education about the problem of vaginal discharge personal hygiene through a counseling method using betel leaf decoction to treat vaginal discharge to 5 young women. So that the knowledge of young women about how to prevent and treat vaginal discharge increases as evidenced by the increase in post test results carried out after health education is carried out.
