Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a chronic disease that occurs when the pancreas does not produce enough insulin, or when the body cannot effectively use the insulin it produces. The diagnosis of Diabetes Mellitus is found when the blood glucose level during >200mg/dl or blood sugar is satisfied 126 mg/dl, characterized by polyuria, polydipsi, polygaphy, peripheral nerve disorders / tingling, fatigue, weight loss and wounds that are difficult to heal. The purpose of this senior practice is to apply nursing knowledge and knowledge comprehensively and scientifically in solving nursing problems through providing nursing care to families with Diabetes Mellitus. Nursing care was carried out on May 21 -26 May 2024 to two families with diabetes meilitus by helping families recognize family health problems by providing health education about Diabetes Mellitus, diabetic foot exercises, autogenic relaxation techniques, educating families in making decisions, caring for families by teaching foot exercises, modifying the environment, and assisting families in utilizing health facilities. The results of the interventions carried out, the family is able to recognize health problems, the family is able to do diabetic foot exercises, autogenic relaxation techniques, the family is able to make decisions regarding appropriate health actions, the family is able to care for sick family members, the family is able to modify the environment, and the family is able to utilize health facilities.
