Abstract
Community Health Center or commonly called Puskesmas is a health facility that organizes Public Health Efforts and Individual Health Efforts at the first level and is one of the First Level Health Facilities for participants in the National Health Insurance program. Currently, many people have not utilized health service facilities optimally, including Puskesmas. The utilization of Puskesmas Terjun by scavengers is only 2-10 visits/6 months while the average visit to other Puskesmas in Medan City reaches 20 to 30 visits/month. The results of the study showed that as many as 68 respondents (49.3%) utilized Puskesmas and 70 respondents (50.7%) did not utilize Puskesmas Terjun. Based on the multivariate test, the results showed that the knowledge variable (p = 0.004), the healthy-sick perception variable (p = 0.013), the support variable of health center officers (p = 0.005), and the family support variable (p = 0.012) had an influence on the utilization of health centers, and the trust variable (p = 0.090), the JKN membership variable (p = 0.606), and the health condition variable (p = 0.859) did not have an influence on the utilization of the Terjun Health Center. The results of the multivariate test showed that the family support variable had an OR value of 2.926, which is the best model to determine the influence on the utilization of the Terjun Health Center. Based on the research results, efforts are needed, especially in socializing health and the use of health centers through counseling to increase scavenger awareness to utilize the Terjun Health Center and health workers at the Terjun Health Center can improve services to be even better so that public perception and trust will be even better towards the services and treatment available at the Terjun Health Center, Medan Marelan.
